The next big entertainment drawcard for Sydney is Disney’s Mary Poppins the Musical and a $615,000 campaign to promote travel packages for the show commences this Saturday, 2 April. Around half a million people are expected to see the musical at the Capitol Theatre from 17 April including visitors from regional NSW, interstate and New Zealand.
Tourism NSW is working in partnership with Qantas Holidays, Disney Theatrical Productions Australia and New Zealand and Accor Hotels to promote Mary Poppins “stay and see” packages in Sydney.
The campaign features print advertising in Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and a range of large centres in regional NSW. Media includes newspapers such as the Courier Mail, the Adelaide Advertiser, the West Australian and the Tweed Daily News. Mary Poppins will also feature on sydney.com.
